We're wrapping up the year on a good note!
As the year is coming to an end, and this is the last Friday of 2024 (whoa!), we’re all rounding up our favorites from the year and doing some reflecting. A reflection post will come soon, but for now, I thought it’d be fun to share some of my favorite (non-glamorous) purchases from the year. Some things on the list I think are useful, and I’m sure you’ll love.

Best Purchases of 2024!
LED Flickering Candles
I love having candles, however, they’re a fire hazard and there have been times before leaving the house when I would forget to turn them out. These LED candles are great! Firstly, they look real which is amazing! It comes with a remote where you can set a timer so it will come on automatically and shut off for the allowed time you had set it for. It comes in multiple colors. I love the vibe and plan on getting more to have around the house. Ergonomic Mouse
Earlier this year I was experiencing some wrist pain. Using my trackpad on my laptop was only making matters worse, I immediately purchased this ergonomic mouse which hands down has been one of the best purchases ever. Portable Battery Charger

Mildew No More!
For quite a while (a few years if I’m being honest) I struggled with mildew growing in my bathroom and it was annoying. I finally decided to try damp rid. Skeptical at first, I wasn’t expecting this to work in my bathroom. I’m so glad I did! Not only does it actually work, but I have yet to see any mildew growing in my bathroom. Single-Serve Coffee Machine
I had a Keurig before this machine but after doing a descaling the machine stopped working completely. I got this Ninja single-serve coffee maker (aside: Ninja is really having a moment, aren’t they?) Well, this coffee machine is amazing! I love that I can use both K-Cups and ground coffee! This $8 Top!
This top is $8.00 and it looks so good on and feels comfortable. The material doesn’t feel cheap at all. It runs TTS (I got a size small) they’re always running out but they stock up quickly! At the time of writing this, it’s currently on sale for $6.99! Shop the top →
Teeth Whitening Strips
If you love the way Crest strips grip onto your teeth but don’t love the sensitivity they can cause, these strips are just as good. They have a nice grip, unlike another popular brand. They work well and don’t cause any sensitivity (I have very sensitive teeth). Best of all, they come in numerous flavors. So far, out of all that I’ve tried my favorite seems to be coconut. Meat Masher
I didn’t think I would love this tool or get so much use from it, but here we are! I’m raving about a meat masher. Cooking is a passion of mine! I love cooking for friends and family but when it comes to ground meat this meat masher thing makes it so much quicker to break apart the meat. The tool doesn’t look like much but it works amazingly! A Hat For Petite Heads
I got this hat on a whim while preparing for a road trip this past Summer. I love that it fits perfectly for my small head and I’ve used it more than I thought. Shop hat →
My Bible
Technically, purchased in 2023. But it wasn’t until this year that I really delved into my bible and found great joy in doing so. I love this bible for the illustrations and beautiful pages and it’s easy to read. Shop bible →

Jojoba oil
When I got my haircut earlier this year, my hairdresser noticed how dry my scalp was. She recommended I use jojoba oil before washing my hair and leave it on for several hours. I don’t want to sound dramatic, but holy Moses this has improved the health of my scalp so much! I rarely struggle with dryness on my scalp as I used to.
